Fragmented Perception

Fragmented Perception explores a different way of seeing the world, by taking a small collection of seemingly 'mundane' vessels and ceramics and abstracting them through observational drawing to build a collection of patterns intended for home interior textiles and hard furnishings to create the feeling of a mediterranean villa. Largely inspired by the cubism movement, I experimented with different ways to obstruct what I was seeing and transfer that into painting.
